Oliver Hirte

Der lyrische Bariton Oliver Hirte ist gebürtiger Berliner und stammt aus einer deutsch-britischen Musikerfamilie. Sein musikalischer Weg begann im Jugendchor „Die Primaner“ des Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Musikgymnasiums in Berlin. Derzeit absolviert er ein Masterstudium im Fach Gesang an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig bei Prof. Brigitte Wohlfarth.

Sein Bachelorstudium absolvierte er an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock bei Prof. Klaus Häger. Wichtige Impulse erhielt er durch Meisterkurse bei renommierten Dozenten wie Prof. Karola Theill, Georg Poplutz und Patrick Grahl.

Neben seiner Tätigkeit als Konzert- und Liedsänger widmet er sich ebenfalls dem Musiktheater. 2023 spielte er die Solopartie des Hausdichters in Domenico Cimarosas Der Operndirektor, im Juni 2025, in der deutschen Erstaufführung, die Rolle des Charlie aus Jake Heggies Oper Three Decembers. So hat er beispielsweise bereits auf Bühnen wie dem Volkstheater Rostock, dem Mecklenburgischen Staatstheater Schwerin und der C. P. E. Bach Konzerthalle Frankfurt (Oder) gesungen.

Für das Jahr 2023 wurde Oliver Hirte als Stipendiat der „Dr. Herbert und Anne-Marie Lembcke ad-infinitum-foundation" ausgezeichnet. Im März 2024 war er Mitglied des Jungen Stuttgarter Bachensembles der Bachakademie Stuttgart, wo er die Johannes- Passion von H. Schütz und J. S. Bach unter der Leitung von Hans-Christoph Rademann aufführte.

In der Saison 2025/26 stehen das Young-Artist-Programm des C. P. E. Bach Chores Hamburg mit zwei Konzerten in Monreale (Sizilien), eine weitere Aufführung von Heggies Kammeroper Three Decembers im Theater Eisleben sowie die Rolle des Adelhof in Lortzings Der Waffenschmied am Theater Rudolstadt auf dem Programm.

Oliver Hirte

The lyrical baritone Oliver Hirte was born in Berlin and comes from a German-British family of musicians. His musical path began in the youth choir “Die Primaner” at the Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Musikgymnasium in Berlin. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Singing at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig with Prof. Brigitte Wohlfarth.

He completed his Bachelor's degree at the University of Music and Theatre Rostock with Prof. Klaus Häger. He received important artistic impulses through master classes with renowned teachers such as Prof. Karola Theill, Georg Poplutz and Patrick Grahl.

In addition to his work as a concert and lieder singer, he is also devoted to musical theatre. In 2023 he sang the solo part of the House Poet in Domenico Cimarosa's The Opera Director; in June 2025, in the German premiere, he performed the role of Charlie in Jake Heggie's chamber opera Three Decembers. He has already sung on stages such as the Volkstheater Rostock, the Mecklenburg State Theatre Schwerin and the C. P. E. Bach Concert Hall Frankfurt (Oder).

In 2023 Oliver Hirte was honored as a scholar of the "Dr. Herbert and Anne-Marie Lembcke ad-infinitum foundation". In March 2024 he was a member of the Young Stuttgart Bachensemble of the Bach Academy Stuttgart, where he performed the St. John Passion by H. Schütz and J. S. Bach under the direction of Hans-Christoph Rademann.

In the 2025/26 season he will participate in the Young Artist programme of the C. P. E. Bach Choir Hamburg with two concerts in Monreale (Sicily), appear in another performance of Heggie's chamber opera Three Decembers at the Theater Eisleben, and take on the role of Adelhof in Lortzing's Der Waffenschmied at the Theater Rudolstadt.
